I’m a Ukrainian-American photographer, storyteller, and the heart behind Pax Project Photography. My work is centered on capturing the moments that matter most: the quiet glances, joyful celebrations, and the in-between memories that make your story uniquely yours.

Photography has always been more than a career for me. It’s how I connect with people and preserve the beauty of life as it unfolds. I’m drawn to natural and/or moody light, genuine emotion, and the kind of moments that often pass by too quickly...the ones you’ll want to return to again and again.

My hope is that when you look through your photos years from now, you don’t just see what the day looked like… you remember exactly how it felt.

Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me soaking up slow moments at home — cooking something delicious, tending to my garden, spending time with my family, working on an art project, or chasing my chickens around the yard. I’m constantly inspired by the beauty of everyday life and the people who fill it with love.

My philosophy

Every moment has a story worth remembering.

The people I’m most inspired to photograph are the ones who live and love with their whole hearts. The ones who see beauty in the small things and want to hold onto the moments that make life feel full.

When I photograph a wedding or a season of life, I try to be both attentive and unobtrusive—present enough to notice what matters, yet gentle enough to let real moments unfold naturally. I might quietly wipe away a tear during a heartfelt exchange and then step in to smooth a veil or shift the light so everything feels just right.

My work is guided by both emotion and intention. I care deeply about how a moment feels, but also about how it is framed—the light, the balance, the subtle details that elevate an image without ever taking away from its authenticity.

At the heart of it all is a simple belief: the people who trust me with their memories deserve care, thoughtfulness, and artistry at every step. The photographs we create together should feel honest, beautiful, and meaningful long after the moment itself has passed.
